Portage Municipal Airport
Portage Municipal Airport is a city owned, public use airport located two nautical miles (4 km) northwest of the central business district of Portage, a city in Columbia County, Wisconsin, United States.〔 It is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a ''general aviation'' facility.
== Facilities and aircraft ==
Portage Municipal Airport covers an area of 106 acres (43 ha) at an elevation of 824 feet (251 m) above mean sea level. It has two runways with asphalt surfaces: 17/35 is 3,768 by 60 feet (1,148 x 18 m) and 4/22 is 2,559 by 40 feet (780 x 12 m).〔
For the 12-month period ending June 21, 2012, the airport had 8,850 aircraft operations, an average of 24 per day: 96% general aviation, 3% air taxi, and 1% military.
At that time there were 25 aircraft based at this airport: 96% single-engine and 4% jet.〔
